How Are Pigeons Getting In My House?

You may have seen pigeons in your property but have no idea how they got in there. If you are to solve the riddle of "how are pigeons getting in my house" then you will have to look at the structure of the home. More than likely the pigeons are not using the front door (although there are times when they will fly in) instead they are probably using a hole near the wall of the roof. Those holes are not necessarily easy to see as they may be small or covered by tree branches or other outdoor decorations. Pay attention and if necessary keep a log of the holes that you find.

The first thing that you are going to have to do in order to learn how pigeons get in your house is to check all over the house for holes. Remember that you should inspect the home a few times because even if you find one hole it does not mean that it is the only entrance for pigeons. Most people who have damages on the infrastructure of a home don't even know that they had problems on the wall. Check at least three times around your home and cover whatever holes that you find during your inspection.
